01The signal

The report, exactly as it was filed.

Nothing paraphrased or cleaned up. The mess is the thing under test.

URI.js#224 · as filedcommit 4ad3f29

.relativeTo() requires trailing slash on .. path segments

I'm not sure if this adheres to the URI spec or not, but this behaviour was surprising to me:

```
> URI("http://example.com/foo/..").relativeTo("http://example.com/foo/").toString()
""
> URI("http://example.com/foo/../").relativeTo("http://example.com/foo/").toString()
"../"
```

02What counts as reproducing it

The bar, written down before the run.

expected.reportedFailurecommitted with the case
Symptom
URI("http://example.com/foo/..").relativeTo("http://example.com/foo/").toString() produces ''; the fix makes it produce '../'.
Expression
URI("http://example.com/foo/..").relativeTo("http://example.com/foo/").toString()
Reported output
""
Where that came from
Read mechanically from the report's fenced code, REPL form: `> URI("http://example.com/foo/..").relativeTo("http://example.com/foo/").toString() ""`.

03What happened

The live run reproduced the reported failure.
